Unfortunately with the rise in courier costs we are no longer able to offer free delivery to RURAL Delivery addresses – we suggest that you send your item to central address to avoid a rural delivery freight surcharge 

Oversized items could be products such as a dog kennel, pet housing, crates, rabbit cages, bird cages, large pieces of cat furniture, fish tank – tanks are sent at own risk) 

No courier collection available on weekends or public holidays.

Availability of Product

Some goods we may need to get from our warehouse, so, not all products advertised on our website are immediately available for pickup.

If you have an urgent request please contact us prior to placing your order to ensure that we can accommodate your requests

Dispatch can take 1-3 days. Prescription diets are custom ordered. You can expect to receive your goods within 2-4 working days after dispatch (rural may take up to 7 days), local is usually overnight.

If we are unable to meet this time frame, we will email you with an estimated time of arrival. You will then have the opportunity of continuing with your purchase or cancelling the order.

If you need an item urgently please let us know and we will advise you of any applicable delivery costs. 

Oversized & Fragile Items

We classify dog runs, cargo crates, kennels, birdcages and fish tanks as oversize items and these do have specific delivery charges. 

FISH TANKS are fragile items and will only be sent at purchasers risk. We cannot guarantee the safe delivery of a fish tank. We will pack it to our best ability but we are at the mercy of the courier company and they are not known for their gentle approach – so if you wish to proceed and order a tank please be aware we will send it but that we take no responsibility for the safe arrival (no exceptions)

We only offer delivery of oversize items to main centres

Courier Deliveries

We use NZ Post, Post Haste & PBT Couriers for delivery of our pet products.

Orders placed after noon may not be processed until the following business day.

Once your order is processed we will send a receipt and courier tracking details at the end of any transaction, so you will know when to expect your parcel.

 

Efforts to help the planet

Pet Central is making a conscious effort to limit our impact on the planet

Where possible we will re-use packaging materials, such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts and tissue paper.

When packaging items we will make an effort to be aware on how the packaging may impact the environment all the while ensuring that you get your item damage free
